Michael Narodovich,
DMD
 Dr.
Mike was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio
where he got his Bachelor of Science degree from
The Ohio State University and his dental
training from the prestigious Temple University
in Philadelphia, PA. He and his wife relocated
to take advantage of the northern California
beauty as well as the abundant snowfall Lake
Tahoe has to offer, as Michael is an avid skier.
Dr. Mike’s passion for safe and comfortable
dental treatment for even the most fearful
patients prompted his education in sedation
dentistry. With a combination of safe medication
patients can “sleep” right through their dental
appointment, with most treatment completed in
one appointment. His tender touch and reassuring
tone helps all of our patients experience a more
pleasant dental visit. His surgical skills are carried through with
the latest technology in the placement of dental
implants. Dr. Mike’s training in the placement
of implants with the assistance of CT scans
allows for precise placement while minimizing
complications. Do not let missing teeth or loose
dentures affect you or your family members as
dental implants are more affordable then you may
think!
His passion is in the treatment of TMD and
sleep apnea. Both of these disorders affect not
only the patients’ lives but those of their
family members. TMD often manifests with
symptoms such as headaches, neck pain,
migraines, and painful jaw popping and clicking
which can seriously affect the way patients
experience life. For most patients, expensive
and painful surgery is not necessary and proven
non-invasive treatments have been created to
elevate these symptoms.
Snoring and sleep apnea can now be treated
with simple dental devices. Sleep apnea is very
dangerous and has been proven to be associated
with a host of medical problems such as high
blood pressure, daytime sleepiness and a
shortened life span. Do you know that more
people are killed from drivers who fall asleep
then drunk drivers? If you know someone who
snores, suffers from daytime drowsiness or
already has been diagnosed with sleep apnea but
cannot tolerate a C-PAP machine, Dr. Mike can

Jim
Robinson, DDS
 Began
private in Southern California in 1972 after
leaving the AirForce. In the early 70's became
interested in implants to help give patients
alternatives to their restorative needs. Became
a member of the USC implant study group. Studied
with Tom Driscole, the developer of what is the
Bicon Implant System today. In the middle to
late 70's saw a need to develop an understanding
of TMJ problems. This was in the early treatment
and understanding of the TMJ process. This
course of study lead to a need to develop an
understanding of the correlation of orthodontics
and occlusion to TMJ symptoms. I took extensive
post grad orthodontic courses in the late 70's
and early 80's. My practice tended to move
towards a higher commitment to Orthodontics.
In the middle to late 80's my practice was
mostly orthodontics and implant dentistry. I
developed an early Sleep Aptnia appliance but
never pursued this direction and concentrated my
efforts in the ortho and implant areas. After
selling my Southern California practice in the
early 90's and moving to Placerville I chose to
work for established practices as a private
contractor. This finally lead to my being one of
the initial doctors to start the Smile Doctor /
Elite Dental. I have been actively involved here
since that time.
Binh
Dao, DDS
Dr. Binh Dao was born in Sacramento and his
parents still live in the Antelope area. He
attended nearby Antelope Crossing Middle School
and Woodcreek High School in West Roseville.
Some of our current patients share the same
teacher as Dr. Dao had growing up.
Dr. Dao received his DDS Degree from the
University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in
2007, where he was Class President and was
active with student council and many other
dental school committees. Besides doing most
general procedures, his patience and youthful
energy allows him to see most of the children in
our practice.
He is actively involved with the Sacramento
District Dental Society serving on the Dental
Health Committee and every single year he
travels to a foreign country to provide free
dental work to the less fortunate and
underserved.
